Airbus, CAST, ESA, NASA and 24 Other Organisations to Showcase Space Solutions at the 2024 NewSpace Africa Conference
The 2024 NewSpace Africa Conference is set to host a massive exhibition featuring 28 prominent organisations from the global space industry. Specifically, representatives from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the European Space Agency (ESA), the China Academy of Space Technology (CAST), Airbus Defence and Space and 24 other participating companies have been billed to exhibit their solutions and services to the over 500 confirmed conference delegates.
Space in Africa, in conjunction with the African Union Commission, is organising the conference, which will be hosted by the Angolan National Space Programme Management Office (GGPEN) under the auspices of the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies, and Social Communication (MINTTIC).
During the four-day conference, these organisations will gather at the Talatona Convention Centre in Luanda, Angola, to showcase their latest advancements, share knowledge, exchange ideas, explore emerging trends and innovations in the space industry, engage in discussions regarding its opportunities and challenges, identify ways to collaborate and drive innovation in Africa, and collectively shape the future of space exploration.
Scheduled from 2 – 5 April 2024, the conference boasts a comprehensive programme designed to engage and inspire attendees. Keynote speeches, interactive sessions, panel discussions, and business pitches will punctuate the days, offering unparalleled insights into the latest trends and developments in the space industry. From seasoned industry leaders to emerging innovators, delegates will have the opportunity to connect with diverse stakeholders, participate in thought-provoking discussions, foster cross-border partnerships and drive innovation across Africa.
Moreover, the conference provides ample opportunities for networking and collaboration.
