On the sidelines of the second Rwanda-Poland Business Forum, Locus Dynamics, a Rwandan aerospace robotics engineering firm, signed a memorandum of understanding with Polish earth observation satellite manufacturing company, SatRev, to partner in developing and operating earth monitoring satellite infrastructure to provide solutions in Rwanda, according to a report by the Rwanda Development Board.

This second edition of the Rwanda-Poland Business Forum, which was held on 7th February 2024, convened Polish and Rwandan business executives at a roundtable talk with President Paul Kagame of Rwanda and President Andrzej Duda, who is on a state visit to Rwanda, according to The New Times.

The meeting aimed to position the private sector to implement the earlier agreements signed by both countries regarding trade and economic cooperation, green technologies, environmental engineering, geology, energy efficiency, etc. According to the same reporters, at least four projects from Poland are registered in Rwanda worth USD 72.3 million and creating over 330 jobs in key sectors such as health, energy, ICT services, and construction.
