EgSA Hosts Delegates from China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation
Professor Sherif Sedky, the Egypt Space Agency (EgSA) CEO, recently hosted Mr Zhang Zhongyang, the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) President, and his delegation to the agency’s headquarters. During the event, both parties engaged in fruitful discussions on strengthening and expanding their space cooperation. The meeting commenced with a comprehensive tour of the EgSA’s state-of-the-art Testing, Assembly, and Integration Center (AITC), providing Mr Zhang and his team with valuable insights into the agency’s advanced capabilities and infrastructure.
Furthermore, the meeting between both parties served as a significant platform to foster more collaboration between the Egyptian Space Agency and the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. The two leaders engaged in detailed discussions regarding potential joint projects, sharing expertise and promoting technological advancements in space exploration.
In addition, Professor Sherif Sedky expressed his gratitude for the visit and emphasised the importance of bilateral cooperation in advancing both countries’ space programmes. He highlighted EgSA’s commitment to further enhancing its capabilities and leveraging international partnerships to achieve its goals. Mr Zhang Zhongyang reciprocated the sentiment, acknowledging the remarkable progress made by the Egyptian Space Agency and expressing China’s eagerness to contribute to its future endeavours.
