Starlink is deepening its market presence in Nigeria with the introduction of in-person customer support at Konga stores nationwide. The company notified existing users directly, announcing “In-Person Support Now Available at Konga Stores,” signalling an evolution in its distribution strategy and commitment to localised service delivery across its most subscribed African market. The move reflects a broader shift toward market integration, one that places accessibility, trust, and usability alongside infrastructure deployment.
The development provides both existing and potential users with access to physical service points where they can receive assistance with installation, technical issues, product information, and other customer support needs. Until now, the satellite internet provider has primarily operated through online channels, relying on digital ordering, app-based account management, and remote support. The introduction of face-to-face assistance through Konga’s retail network expands access to its services and lowers the barrier to entry, making the offering more accessible and easier to adopt for a broader user base.
Strengthening its Local Partnership with Konga
The development further builds on the existing partnership between Starlink and Konga, which initially positioned Konga as a key distributor of Starlink kits in Nigeria. Leveraging its e-commerce platform, physical retail outlets, and nationwide logistics network, Konga has played an important role in improving the availability and visibility of Starlink hardware nationwide. With the addition of in-store support, the partnership now extends beyond distribution into service delivery. By integrating customer assistance into its retail network, Konga is supporting Starlink’s transition toward a more localised model that incorporates after-sales support and direct user engagement, further strengthening its operational presence in the market.
Konga has also supported adoption through targeted promotional campaigns. Through campaigns such as “Starlink Week,” Konga has offered discounted pricing on Starlink kits and accessories, alongside free nationwide delivery in major cities including Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt.
