KSA Hosts Delegates for the Kenyan Mission in Austria and Italy

Brigadier Hillary Kipkosgey, the Acting Director-General of the Kenya Space Agency (KSA), hosted the Ambassador-designates for the Kenyan Mission in Austria and Italy at the KSA headquarters in Nairobi. The team of delegates included H.E. Ambassador Makoloo Maurice (Head of Mission, Austria), H.E. Ambassador Fredrick Matwanga (Head of Mission, Italy), and H.E. Ambassador Harriet Nduma (Deputy Head of Mission, Austria).

During the strategic visit, the parties explored collaborative avenues that will aid the growth of their space ecosystem through partnerships and expertise exchange. In addition, the delegates familiarised themselves with KSA’s involvement in the global space agenda and its role in advancing the proper utilisation of space-based technologies in promoting inclusive growth.
Furthermore, the acting DG briefed the dignitaries on the key activities the agency is currently implementing. The Ambassador-designates expressed their readiness to assist the agency and emphasised the importance of exploring possibilities for hosting international space-related events in the country, enhancing opportunities for capacity building in space-related disciplines, and establishing strategic partnerships with both the public and private sectors in the host nations.
