Marlink Signs Agreement with Eutelsat to Provide Maritime Connectivity Across EMEA
In a press release by Eutelsat Group, the company announced that Marlink has signed a multi-year multi-million commitment for the geosynchronous equatorial orbit (GEO) High Throughput Ku-band capacity on its EUTELSAT 10B satellite, covering Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), as well as critical maritime routes. This collaboration complements the ongoing partnerships between Marlink and the Eutelsat Group on global maritime connectivity solutions.
The agreement provides Marlink with targeted, dense and highly flexible bandwidth, effectively serving the extensive maritime regions and offshore zones covered by the multi-mission high-capacity EUTELSAT 10B satellite. This agreement also provides Marlink access to Eutelsat Group’s ground infrastructure, delivering robust and secure uplink capabilities and unlocking connectivity opportunities and solutions for clients at sea throughout the vast EMEA region.
