With this development, du is expanding its capacity at the 7/8° West orbital position. This expansion will enable its media customers to effortlessly deliver high-definition content to viewers, ensuring an enhanced user experience.

In addition, the 7/8° West orbital position covers most TV households in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, presenting the broadest exclusive coverage. With approximately 900 TV channels available from this location, audiences value the extensive lineup. Through the new collaboration with Eutelsat, du can further improve content delivery for its customers throughout MENA, offering increased capacity and an exceptional user experience. This partnership aims to cater to customers broadcasting TV channels in both standard and high definition, ensuring enhanced service quality.
