Kenya Space Agency Hosts Israeli Ambassador

The Director-General of the Kenya Space Agency, Brigadier Hillary Kipkosgey, and other agency executives, recently received a diplomatic delegation of the Israeli ambassador, Amb. Michael Lotem, at the agency’s headquarters, to discuss areas of collaboration between the Kenya Space Agency and Israel space companies.

Both parties extensively discussed the potential cooperation in space science and technology between the countries, specifically in using Earth Observation and Remote Sensing applications for Agriculture, natural resources management, and climate change, amongst others.

The ambassador further expressed Israel’s interest in collaborating with the agency for socio-economic development by using satellite data to manage climate change, water resources and the agriculture sector.
