Egyptian Space Agency to Promote Space Culture Among Students, Partners with Tiba Institue

The Egyptian Space Agency hosted a delegation from Tiba Institute on Monday, November 7, 2020. 

The delegation was welcomed by Dr Mohamed Al-Quosi, CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency, Dr Mohamed Iraqi, the Executive Vice-President of the Space Agency, and top researchers at the agency. Representing Tiba institute was Dr Abdul Ghani, Dr Ahmed Azam, and Dr Sharif Sami, who visited the laboratories at the Agency, presented by Dr Mohamed Kassab, President Design Group of EgSA and Dr Ahmed Farrag, head of the Moon Face Control Division.

Dr Al-Quosi appreciated the delegation of Tiba Institute for their visit to the headquarters of the Egyptian Space Agency. During his address, he emphasized that Egyptian Universities have an important role to introduce students to space culture, something which the Agency was trying to promote through various programs.

The Dean thanked Dr Mohamed Al-Quosi, on behalf of Dr Sadik Afifi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, for receiving them at the Agency headquarters.

Speaking further to the guests, Dr Al-Quosi expressed his wish that the Tiba Institute should play an important role in training students towards preparing them to join the Agency and to organise competitions with other Universities to promote participation.

At the end of the visit, the Dean of Tiba Institute, presented their armour Dr Mohamed Al-Quosi, CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency as a symbol of partnership.
