According to a news release by the Punch, Mrs Nkechi Egerton-Idehen, the Managing Director of the Nigerian Communications Satellite Ltd (NIGCOMSAT), has reiterated the organisation’s dedication to restructuring and reviewing its priorities at the Gombe regional office, Nigeria, during a two-day strategic visit to the Northern state. 

Furthermore, the MD emphasised the organisation’s readiness to partner with the relevant stakeholders in Gombe state,  offer broadband access to bridge the digital divide and enable small and medium enterprises in the state to operate at their optimal level. This partnership will allow Gombe’s residents to have better access to healthcare services and boost e-commerce services. In addition, underserved communities and individuals will have the opportunity to connect to the digital world, access information, and benefit from online resources and services.
